If you have this T, tell me about it:)

I have a chance to get one this weekend, is $35 a good price?
(for a juvie @ 2 in.)

It's currently the least expensive T on my wish list=D

its definately a cool T, but its a longterm commitment. Citharischius crawshayi grow SLOW, and dig alot. As adults they are frikkin huge, with legs like double pencils, but the road up to that is going to be small brown and orange. They also stridulate pretty neatly.

the price isnt bad for a cb, make sure it is.

I bought a 3/4" sling 6 years ago. It has about a 6-7" legspan now.

Burrows alot
cool looking ( i think)
moves pretty slow, easy to move
very defensive
no urticating hairs
long lived

The fact that it does not have flyin' hairs is one of the reasons
I picked it:D And of course it's SIZE!=D

I just have to make sure that the one I am looking at is CB:cool:

I may just come home with a new T from the show tomorrow=D

:D YAY!:D She's gettin' a new T! Congratulations! Let us know... I've been thinking about getting one too... but that growth rate seems kind of discouraging. I like to see a BIG CHANGE after a molt.

I hope your new spidie is wonderful!=D

I think there cool as adults but the slow growth makes me kinda question getting one i like fast growing T's i hear these are one of the slowest growers, and as adults there expensive, theres a pet store here in phoenix selling an adult female for 200$

$35.00 a pretty good price. And 2" is more than likely large enough to sex. Skin cast wise.
Is it a girl? If so I'd buy it..;)

I like mine

I got my King Baboon about one year ago and since then it has molted three times. I'm sure it is much bigger (okay, not that much bigger) than when I first got it but you can't really tell that it's growing. Kinda like with your kids, you see them all the time so you don't really notice the growth spurts but everyone else does. I guess you don't get to see these all the time either unless they burrow near the glass like mine:p . Personally, I like to be in for the long haul so I love this T and it's thick legs. If you have no patience......don't get one.

Bummer~:0(

Well, the T I was looking at ended up being a little boy:(
I was hoping for a girl, maybe next time.
To top it off I found out that our A. Avic "Boots" is a male:(
I hope to get him a girl friend and we can try for some babies.
Anything is worth a try. At least that way he will serve his purpose in life, TO MAKE MORE T's!:)

It's cool,
King's grow so slow, and if you don't power feed him, he'll live for alot of years.
I've been getting my share of male's lately too. I'm just feeding them 1 cricket a week and they seem fine with that.

See ya,
Ernie

$35 is a great price for a King baboon of that size, and who knows, if you were to offer them $60 for both of them... I bet you'd be walking home with 2 King baboons :) Just have a really deep plastic sweater box full of your favorite substrate and they'll be in digging nervana
