Hey folks, I'm throwing out some dirt substrate but it's full of darkling beetles and some roach nymphs. I want to be responsible and kill them first because they're non-native. Any good tips on how to do this?

If you are truly unable to separate the nymphs and beetles, then freezing is the most humane option. That's how almost all scientific institutions, companies, and labs do it.

The standard at my workplaces are three days to a week (depending on species). The longer the better honestly.
