Sooooo, apparently science has discovered a venomous frog! No...not "poisonous," but actually venomous. Two species of frogs discovered in Brazil were found to use spines to jab toxins into predators (and scientists), and the venom of the more potent species is 25x more toxic than a Bothrops sp. viper! Yikes!

Very cool indeed. I have a Tylototriton kweichowensis (a newt) that will stab its ribs up through poison filled sacks on its back. Got to handle these carefully and gently.
