Keeping Argyrodes, without "host" webs?

is keeping Argyrodes, specifically Argyrodes argentatus, possible without having the host spiders web? Do tehse guys even have teh abiltiy to spin a web?

have there been any attempts in captive keeping of these guys?

im turning up empty on captive infrmation, but fidn good amount of wid info.

from what I've read about them, it seems that they need the host to kill the prey for them but I could very easily be wrong.

Have you considered using phlocid webs to rear them? Phlocids spin webs large enough to span a large KK and aren't that visible.

yes thats what i had read as well, but i was hoping dead food may work...but perhaps it needs it pre "juiced"??

interesting idea on the Pholcids, i can definatly give them a try. sure beats using some large orbweaver that i dont really wnat to house :D
