i bought one saturday, its about 2-2.5" long. would a 35 gal tank be a good size enclosure for that size?

Way too big-- 2 times by 3 times their legspan is plenty of room-- a 2 1/2 gal would be fine for it.

Skeletons don't get very big. I keep mine in a 5 gal. They love to web up the whole space.

To answer your question, yes, they do burrow. However skeletons are more fond of constructing a webbed hide near burrow entrances rather than digging. They will create extravagant webs packed with leaves, moss and substrate rather than dig a hole. Though some do dig on occasion.

Great choice. They are my favorite T's.

Just remember these guys move really quick. And if you get one with a temper it will flick hairs at you by rubbing its pedipalps on its chelicera. Mine is as docile as a kitten... but I've heard stories.
