Hi all,
Sierra, my juvie chalcodes, has not eaten since I got her, which is going on 1 month. I'd normally give it no notice, being as t's are, but she is getting smaller. I've tried adults with and w/o legs, as well as dead squished ones, and the same with 2 week old cricks.
She is staying in a tupperware container, rectangular in shape. She has a large hide, as well as a water saucer. I keep the peat dry.
I know things are meant to happen, but, is there anything I can do?
Thanks...
Gillian.
b.t.w, she's about 3 inches.

Dont worry too much, mine go off feed for months also. It seems in the winter months the U.S desert sp. slow way down.
Just offer a cric once a week till it takes it. It'll eat soon enough.
I've collected some that were sooo skinny. But after they start eating again, they fatten right up..:) I have one right now that hasn't eaten in 2 1/2 months. I'm not sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if their pre-molt went that long.

Mr. T,
True but, she's so skinny....she hasn't eaten since I got her. Were she an adult, I wouldn't be so worried.

Peace,
Gillian
