A general "rule-of-thumb" fir many keepers is at least 2.5x the leg span of the spider in length, 1.5-2.5x in width, and 1.5x max in height. Seems great, just make sure it isn't too small. Personally, I'd have to see a side by side to the T to give a definite answer ;)

First off, congratulations on your T! They are addicting :)

Second off, thank you for seeking information regarding your new pet and making efforts to improve your husbandry. Please don't let anyone's comments offend you... many people withno experience do not try to gain knowledge or improve their set ups and it has made for some blunt experienced keepers :)

As others said, your tank is nicely set for an arboreal spider but not so much for a terrestrial. You can lay that tank on its side and replace and screen with plexiglass for an easy, cheap new set up! Grammastola like a hide and sometimes to burrow.. provide 5-6 inches of substrate and a half log hide along with the water bowl and your spider will be all set! :)

Also, there is no such thing - as someone else said - as overfeeding your spider. They will eat until they are full, and then can fast for long periods of time. As long as they have access to water and their abdomen is plump you can offer food as much as they want and don't need to worry if they reject it.
