So recently I bought some 2 Orphnaecus sp Cebu and 1 O. sp Samar. Now the internet has very little info on Samar and almost nothing on Cebu. All I really need is a little basic info on them. Average Adult Size, temperament, Arboreal or not, Desert or Forest yadda yadda yadda

Any info at all will be appreciated, every little snippet helps

Good luck. I'm in the same boat with my Orphnaecus sp. "Panay Blue". So far mine has been a pet hole. It's about 3" now. I've been keeping it as a tropical species since it is from the Phillipines and try to mimic its natural habitat. Hope this helps. They're fast lil buggers so keep that in mind. And have a nasty bite from what little info I have found.

6-8" deep coco fiber substrate half moist, half dry with at least 80% humidity. Nighttime temps should not be allowed to drop any lower than 69F(21C) and daytime temps should not be any higher than 85(29C) though adults can tolerate a varying temp range to some degree but they are very sensitive to humidity changes.

Not an obligate burrower but will web heavily if allowed or if they feel like it. Terrestrial and highly active at rainy evenings, a cave entrance/forest floor setting is a nice environment to simulate for their enclosure.

Got a 5" female Orphnaecus sp. Samar that was previously classified as Selenocosmia samarae
