Jumping Spider

Probably a relatively common one but found this jumping spider in my backyard today. Beautiful and pretty large too. I had kept a similar one I named Shelob for over two years. Just thought I would share some pics.

An amusing fail at feeding. Faceplant into the moss haha.
Looks like a phidippus audax they are very cute I had one for a long time.
They really are. Already amusing me lol. Faceplanted into the moss trying to get a fly.

The video needs this sound effect.
If someone wanted to get creative, jumper antics, some wav files and a little sound mixing could create award winning videos. Definitely need the missed shot leap and long drawn out scream.
Then the fade in: 'One two, one two, one two pant pant' as it climbs back up the safety line.

Based on my google search it looks like there are jumping spiders in the UK. Or did you mean this kind specifically?

We have ones called Zebra Jumping Spiders in the UK, they're pretty cute.
This one you found looks like my Regal Jumping spider :)
yeh i ment the that jumping spider specifically. And ive seen the zebra spiders here they get quite big.
