I have a young jumping spider who normally eats fruit flies with no problem, but she hasn't eaten in a couple of days. Her net isn't particularly thick, and she spends the majority of her time in it; whenever a fruit fly comes close to the net, she bites/attacks it but then lets it go and doesn't eat it. I found a lot of dead fruit flies under her net, but it didn't appear that she sucked the moisture out of them. I've heard that some jumping spiders don't eat because of lighting, I have her under an LED light that isn't hot, but does she require natural light? Is there anyone who knows why she's acting this way or if there's something wrong with her?

Sounds like pre-molt. The nest isn’t always super thick when molting. My Platycryptus undatus’ nests are super thin. Not a sign of bad health. Nothing to worry about. Keep humidity in the enclosure up.
