I’ve had my female regal jumping spider for several months, and she has normally been good with eating 1 large mealworm a week. However, for the past couple of weeks she has been ignoring any mealworms I offer(I’ve changed nothing about the way I feed her except I got new mealworms from petsmart instead of pet o and I changed the soil and whipped some of the surfaces down in her enclousre.
She’s been fairly active, drinking regularly and exposed to regular light. She is a fully matured adult so she wouldn’t be molting. And her abdomen is still swollen from her last meal about 3 and a half weeks ago.
I know jumping spiders can go about a month without food. So should I be concerned? And try other measures. Or just leave her until she feels like eating again?
