I'm interested in getting a jumping spider soon, but I have a few questions about what to feed them. 1. Is it ok to feed them spikes from a fishing store? 2. Can you feed black soldier fly larvae and/or flies? 3. What size feeder do you feed approximate to your spiders abdomen (pictures if possible). 4. How many feeders do you feed in one meal?

Jumping spiders only need to eat about once every three days or so. You'll know when to feed them when their abdomen gets thin. What you feed them depends on the size of your spider. Adult jumpers can eat crickets, flies, mealworms, and dubia roaches. I found a picture online that shows what to feed your spider based on their age/size.
