Jetski deliberately runs over black swan

I saw this on the TV news here in Australia last night. The footage was quite shocking. I was even more disturbed when I found out later that the jetski rider had made three attempts at hitting the bird. Though it looks like the swan is now being well looked after. Even if permanently injured, I hope it survives.

Stupid and/or just bad people

People who treat animals badly are bad people

A local park/pond by me had people going on the water at night and clubbed 2 pairs of white swans with a bat and left them there to die, they were paired for over 10 years at that pond and they also smashed the eggs. Unfortunetly nobody was caught, even with a reward of $500 if anyone found who did it.

Then a local grocery store tarred it entire roof trapping almost 50 birds and those who werent stuck in tar but were covered in some of it were flapping and dragging along the ground dying in the cold weather and the store could care less they said they were pests pooping on the ground. I never shopped there again.
