My first T, Dozer my G. rosea I got about 6-8 months ago molted out MM today, I had a feeling it was before molt but those hooks are a dead give-away. Pictures when I dig my camera out. I've never seen a more orange G. rosea before, and just in time for Halloween

Pretty sure it is RCF I got it from Petco for $10 I think marked down from $20. I'm thinking of finding him a Mature Girl but being newer to T's I'm not sure if I'm up for it yet though I do have a few LP Slings.

I noticed him getting darker before molt but he ate heartily all the way up to about last week, kinda threw me off, taking pictures now. He got way bigger by leg-span like an inch at least DLS.

Pictures up, these really don't do justice he is way more orange / copper his carapace is really shiny copper from a certain angle.

He wanted his picture taken too. building a new tank for him he's in a temp enclosure til his tunnels are hardened and ready.

Wow, that is a great looking tarantula, those colors are stunning. Congratulations on the molt!
