If a spider once in a while itches its abdomen and spinnerets and then putting its leg to its mouth and then doing it all over again is that just cleening it self?

A. avic

My avic can spend a full hour going through every leg and palp for a thorough cleaning. When I first witnessed it, I thought it was eating its leg 'cause of the way it was bending it and working its chelicera over it.

I noticed the H.incei does it the most and the quickest. It's pretty cool -- it just flies right through it!
