Isopods Suddenly Dying?

I've had a small but consistent colony of grey isopods for 3 months or so now. But within the past 48 hours, they have ALL died! One thing I did notice is that my isopod colonies are full of what I assume are mites. They're small shiny bugs that are whiteish and move really quickly. I have also noticed little white dots appearing on my isopods; especially after they're dead. Sometimes right before the isopods die they'll either crawl out into the open and peacefully die or crawl out and run around wildly, flipping over and seizing all over the place before finally dying.

Does anyone know why all of my sweet isopods are dying?
My isopods are set up in a small terrarium I have on my desk with leaf litter, wood and live plants.

Did you add anything to your enclosure?

Mites (the white dot bugs, and the other ones) are not harmful for Isopods.

No I haven't changed anything about the enclosure! I notice that the isopods that die sometimes turn really pale or splotchily pale. Some don't though.

Could be too moist, not moist enough, a disease that was already there, or a food (type of leaf, bark, substrate) or other environmental factor that is causing issues.
