well im trying to rais some madagascar giant hissers and recently my female gave birth:) but it was only to two little ones. so my question is what is the normal birth rate for these roaches? and what can i do to increase the output of the female?

It can take them a day or two to have all the babies. Also, there may be babies in the substrate you didnt see...

Females generally have anywhere from 12 to 60 nymphs at a time, subject to many variables, 40 or so being most common.

To increase the number of offspring, keep them around 80 degrees sort of constantly, and make sure they get all the food/water they can eat in any given week. Also, they are more likely to reproduce the less they are disturbed or handled.

If your container isnt sealed good enough or you have no slick barrior at the top, your little ones might have escaped.
