Is this to big????

I am building a display case for my office and one for the livingroom, I need to have the demensions in by morning so it can be cut to size. I have decided on a cage 14"*14" square and 36" tall with a 2" * 10" screened vent on top and a 12"w * 10" tall door located 4" from the bottom. The idea is to house a large 6"+ aboreal in the cage. I figure the door should allow me access to the entire enclosure and the vent should be large enough to provide ventilation and allow me to regulate humidity. I was thinking about adding a small door on the top so I could also access the cage from the top.

Suggestions ? Rants?

I think it is a bit large for one aboreal (I assume) in it at 36" high. 24" is plenty or divide it in half, one top one bottom.

That worth $.02?

Thanks, maybe I will cut it down to 30" ... I like large except in my girlfriends.. ;o)
