Thank you new to this platform and species of jumper!Correct.
Do you think it would be good to put him in a ( plugged ) Zilla microCorrect.
Absolutely not. Too many holes in that enclosure! Had a jumper Salticus sized; I plugged up every visible hole, still escaped.Do you think it would be good to put him in a ( plugged ) Zilla micro
Oh that looks perfect! Where did you get it from by chance?Absolutely not. Too many holes in that enclosure! Had a jumper Salticus sized; I plugged up every visible hole, still escaped.
I would try to find something that doesn’t have a door. Like a plastic container or display box. When my jumper was the size of a Salticus scenicus, this enclosure worked perfectly. (And still does, she’s still with me just grown bigger now.) View attachment 418006
Ok thanks for the advice why by chance not trying to be rude just curiousIt's better to let males go
Males have a very short life span and when they mature their only mission is to procreate. They won't feed well (if at all) and they'll just wither away eventually. Better to let them make more spiders than to waste away and not have the chance.Ok thanks for the advice why by chance not trying to be rude just curious
From Amazon, Josh’s Frogs.Oh that looks perfect! Where did you get it from by chance?
Males can be short-lived, and may not take food. You can keep him if you want, and not all males are like this. My sister’s adult male Eris militaris has been going steady for months, taking food great, and shows no signs of aging.Ok thanks for the advice why by chance not trying to be rude just curious
This look suitable??Oh that looks perfect! Where did you get it from by chance?

I’m not sure if it’s due to the species or the individual.
The only valid moral reason to keep a male spider in isolation is in furthering research beneficial to environment and ecosystem. Without the beneficial aspect it is nothing more than an animated ornament. -Dr. Kishen VendaraMales have a very short life span and when they mature their only mission is to procreate. Very true, a pet is essentially that. An ornament. Unless you are doing research on it. I don’t own any tools.why don’t you make amac homes yourself?
I have in the past and was not “skilled in the art” and the jumper escaped and I would like to have one premadewhy don’t you make amac homes yourself?
Lol I will keep this guy if he eats and is adapting he isn’t trying to escape and I have a bunch of Zebras on my house so I know that the population is fine I ordered the new enclosure you suggested so I will have something that he can’t escape out of!Very true, a pet is essentially that. all you need is a Fiskar hand drill, or an electric drill. You can do it!Very true, a pet is essentially that. An ornament. Unless you are doing research on it. (I like to do both!)

There is also the captive breeding of endangered species but mentioning that to the good doctor and his colleagues restarts the perpetual three way argument. A, necessary for species survival, B, a band aid on the greater problem of people acting thoughtlessly or irresponsibly and C, evolution is what it is, inclusive of extinction.Very true, a pet is essentially that.
