My friend has a T that he wants to get rid of...its about 4" and looks to be a G. rosea(but im not sure) and he is offering it to me for $20. It is unsexed and has never molted in his ownership. He doesn't know how to sex them either so i don't know when it will molt. The reason im not sure about the possibility of it being a rosie is that he says it LOVES to eat and has never gone any time without eating...the reason i think its a rosie is that he got it from a pet store and our LPS only has rosies (and one "avic" that is kept in an arboreal tank) and he says its a "pet rock" and it is a little mean (not really but when i tried to hold it, it threw a threat pose without kicking hairs. (i cant get a picture at this point so just assume its a rosie)
:D

Most petshops around here carry rosies for around $20-$30. Mind you they are allot cheaper online but you have to pay shipping which would probably make the price just as high. Some rosies like to eat some eat sparingly, thier eating habits and attitudes can vary greatly from individual to individual.

Even for $20 and it turns out to mature into a male you could always send it out on breeder loan and hope for some babies once you ID 100%. :)
