its no big deal man...lol...i was just clarifying....lots and lots of newer keepers get wrapped up on looking for hooks, youre certainly not alone...the common term "hooked out" probably plays a significant role.

But in the end, there are several species where mms do not have hooks....but emboli look similiar on all mms.

If i'm not mistaken, I see a pair of very bulbous pedipalps. definitely a MM.

True, but where you do see hooks, that is a dead giveaway.

I'm quite new to sexing also, although I can tell a MM from an IM, just for interests sake what sp. do not "hook out" it would be a good thing to know - which do and which don't......
