I've searched loads of threads to find an answer to this with no luck. I'm not concerned, just curious. A 5I female Emp who's have has never been in her hide. All my H. Spinifers are never to be seen by day, but this one gal just sits looking at me all day if I'm home. As I say I'm just curious as so many threads say Emps are boring and rarely seen by day. (She has her own large cage and temp/humidity etc are fineand she's eating well)

Yep, definately about to moult, next few days I reckon. I've got a mate for her dew in 5 days, should I keep them apart for a while? Never introduced a mate during molt before.

emps usually don't kill their cage mates, even when molting but if a new emp is introduced and hasn't eaten in a long time it might kill and eat it's cage mate. Anytime you introduce scorpions it's better to make sure that they are well fed, no matter what scorpion species it is.
