Is my millipede eating?

I never ever see her. She's always buried beneath the substrate.

That doesn't bother me but every single day her food dish stays the same. I understand they like it rotten but I've had to replace it a few times now due to mould/smell.

Any hints/tips? I don't want her to starve!
