Hey everyone! This is my first ever spider ive kept. I caught it after it kept coming into the house. Ive had it about 2 months now. Its a great eater but hasnt molted yet. I went to throw in a fly i caught today and i saw this 20180731_184129.jpg
I thought junping spiders made a little nest before molting? The spider is in a little crevice in the bottom left of the picture below. Maybe this is why it didnt make a nest? Ive seen videos but ive never actually seen a spider molt before. Ive never seen a jumping spider molt either! 20180731_184315.jpg i hope it molts quickly. I spotted mold in the enclouser while i was looking for it.

That looks like a death curl rather than a moulting position.

Very sorry for the loss. :(

I have a princeps and they get 5-6 molts...not sure about other types though?
