I can't tell from that picture, but if it was close to birthing, it would be bigger than that I believe.
If you really think it may be, get it in good lighting, and look along its side. You should be able to see little white "eggs" if it is close.

may i ask why you have a meal/super work and beetle in the cage? im not thing shes gonna eat a beetle (mine won't so it not really that safe)

mine loves to crush those beetles
if she's a wild caught there is a chance
i really cant tell from that pic,she might be just fat.. time will tell,
or you can place a mature male emperor if she refuses the male after a couple of attempts that will be a good sign
