I bought the Scolopendra subspinipes not too long ago and think it might be pregnant. It is about 6-7 inches long but it looks big around. I'm pretty new to centipedes but do you guys think it's molting, or that it really is pregnant?

Looks normal to me. Doesn't look big or the skin tight.

Scolopendridae, even when gravid (a thing that isn't rare at all since they are 99% WC) doesn't look like a six months pregnant Lady, or, for that matter, a Napoli city girl on her 20 chubby as hell because she loves too much 'pastiera'.

"You" don't have a clue so IMO no one can tell such a thing using 'eyes' only.

Sellers doesn't care and are clueless, obviously: aside for size, they sell centipedes as 'unsexed'.

If she is a she and said she is gravid so chances that she will disappear under the cork bark (if present) or burrow for find a safe place for pedelings are high.

My S.subspinipes did that, she was gravid.
