Hi again,

I bought a piece of "african drift wood" from the pet store to put in my geniculata's cage for something to liven up its cage with. The exact product is made by hagen. The piece of wood which is shrink wrapped says: MOPANI African wood for aquariums and reptiles. Do you nomally assume this is stralized because it is wrapped? or should i steralize it? if so, can you please tell me how to steralize it?
thanks!!

Mark,
If it's small enough to fit in an oven, put it in there and bake it up at 200 F. for about 45 min.
I use this to clean up cork bark. That'll even kill mold and fungus spores.
Hope that helps.
