My adult a. Avic has been on his back on the bottom of his enclosure for over 24 hours now and i'm starting to worry. I don't want to disturb him if he's still alive but it's getting to be quite a while now. Any ideas?

He could possibly be just molting. Tarantulas rarely die on their backs. I wouldn't mess with it.

Molting (legs stretched out, or carapace popped) or death curl (Legs curled to the center of the body)? If it is on it's back it is probably molting...

As far as tarantulas go, don't assume it's dead til it starts to stink...

He's on his back, legs curled in, and i can't see if carapace is popped. I'll try to post a pic tonight if not moved

Mature male, could be attempting a post-ultimate molt.

Best of luck - it's really not very likely it'll survive much longer, regardless.

if its moltin dont forget to bump the humidity
This makes no difference - internal hydration is what's important, not external hydration.
