Wally, my P. scrofa sling, has never been a very consistent eater. I have consistently given him crickets that were about half his size and he seemed to avoid them for the most part. Tonight I took a cricket that was about his size, ripped a leg off to disable it, and dropped it in. He was sitting on the lid when I put it in. Within 10 minutes he made his way down to the substrate and grabbed the cricket and he was still munching on it a few hours later.
Does he just like larger crickets or has he changed his mind about eating all of a sudden. He molted about 1 1/2 weeks ago. These guys never cease to amaze.
