I went to Petsmart yesterday with my bearded dragon, Irwin, who was such a celebrity - a bunch of people stopped me to ask questions about him and pet him and stuff, it was so fun! I was there to get supplies for the new gecko I'm gonna get in a couple weeks, but also to get some new items for a complete feng shui of Irwin's enclosure.
I found an awesome hiding cave that looks so Australian and matches his tank background perfectly! It was also a pleasant surprise to find some brown reptile carpet (I'd been reluctant to get carpet in the past because the green wouldn't match the background very well).
He's already in love with his new hiding cave - this morning, I went to check on him. He usually gets up earlier than his lights, but today he was sleeping in - and he's already loving his new hiding cave. SO CUTE!!!
