On reading the common name - Tanzanian long-clawed scorpion - I initially thought savannah: warm and dry. Good thing it has a species biography at the Scorpion Files.
'Humid' speaks for itself, but 'montane' throws me, especially with 'tropical' stuck in between. :} I know that equatorial forests can get pretty cool when they're halfway or more up a mountain.
In this case I think I should read tropical as 'between the latitudinal tropics', but I'd better get some confirmation. Humid and warm, or humid and cool?
