Hey everyone, I want to get into insect photography but I don’t know what camera I should buy. I’m hoping for a cheap one (under $200) but any suggestion helps.
Thanks, Aron

Some Canon Rebels can be found online for around 200 used. I used one in my early days.

do you mean macrophotography?

Generally, the lenses you use are more important than the camera itself.

Quite a few are using standard telephoto lenses with a little inexpensive add on like a Raynox macro. Obviously you still need a camera and a lens but it certainly makes it cheaper than buying a high end macro lens.

Glass is important. Light is what it is all about.
When starting out used bodies and glass are good options. Lots of places to go that route.
Have fun explore options...faster glass and lots of light will allow you best DOF.

DOF is determined by aperture and distance from the subject.
