Hello, I purchased 200 mealworms on January 1st and they are acting pretty weird. They sit on the surface of their oatmeal substrate and refuse to eat the food I give them (apples, grepes and potatoes)
does anyone have an idea of why they're acting like this?

What temps are you keeping them at? Room temp is good for growing them out and breeding them, and ~50F is ok for holding them, but lower is hard on them.

Mealworms also go inactive just before they turn into pupae. As long as they're a good colour (not turning black), just leave them to get on with it.
