I thought he/she was in premolt but hes/shes eating as you can see he/she has a shiny abdomen what does this mean? fuck.jpg

she/he is actually eating a mealworm that I cut into a tiny piece

its shiny so I thought its in premolt thanks for the reply
When in heavy pre molt, the whole abdomen will become shiny black, although that is more difficult to see with some species like Grammostola spp.

As said above that looks like the mirror patch that you see when hair has been kicked off. That said I wouldn't be surprised if your little one starts casting and goes into the premolt phase pretty soon.

It means its a G. pulchripes. They frequently continue to eat in pre-molt...not always, but its not an uncommon occurrence. This one may not be there yet though.
