Arachnoboards is home to an incredibly diverse array of members. As with any large group of people there will be differing personalities and viewpoints, not everyone is going to get along. In cases where you can not simply agree to disagree with another user, we offer the "Ignore" feature. Ignoring a user will, by default, hide all content (threads, posts, media, etc.) that the ignored user posts.

This does not include staff members as staff members can not be ignored. :p

Please note: Ignoring a user does NOT block the ignored user from viewing and/or interacting with your content.

If ignored content is present on a page you a viewing, there will be a link on the page to "Show ignored content". Clicking that link will, temporarily (until you leave the page and/or refresh the page), make the ignored content visible.

To Ignore a User:
  • Click on the avatar of the user you would like to ignore.
  • Click "Ignore" on the user's member card.

To Unignore a User:

  • Click "ignoring".

  • Click "Unignore" next to the user you no longer wish to ignore.
