As I would just love to have a room dedicated to Ts along with trying to break the record of having the most Ts and just having this great display of tanks and shelves.... I want to keep it simple yet satisfying.

I currently have 5 Ts:
g. rose, g. aureos, e.uataman, h.gigas, and a.versi..

I want to get at the most 10-15 more. so in this case, we'll say 10.

What would your top 10 Tarantula picks be.. if you could only have 10 ??

M. balfouri
X. immanis
M. mesomelas
M. robustum
P. nigricolor
P. Peruvian Red and Black
P. ultramarinus
P. antinous
P. sp. platyomma
T. blondi

Edit: Is this ten spiders only, or ten Genus species? If it was ten spiders only, I would definitely have to take only three Genus species.

Well, these topics are so hard. It's basicly all up to the personality of the T actually, and the setup I make for it. Sure, there are colors and a general mood of certain T's that attracts me more than others, but still, the psych of the T and how it interacts with the setup I make for it.

Here's an attempt though:

Primary choices
A. Geniculata - Big, aggressive feeder, beautiful coloration.
P. Cancerides - Fast and furious for a terrestial, and some colormorphs are gorgeous.
P. Murinus RCF - Little demon with lots of fascinating web and also refreshing aggression.

Secondary choices
T. Blondi - Well only for the spectacular size really.
C. Fimbriatus - Simple amazing coloration, and sometimes fiesty mood.
C. Chromatopelma - Nice colors, decent webbing, semi-arboreal extravaganza

Third choice
P. Irminia - Simply for the coloration, they are nonexistant as display animals.
Some brachy, possibly vagans, auratum or ruhnai
H. Maculata/S. Calceatum - Beauty and psych. Never had one though.

A dreamy deal would be Pampheboteus Antinous (soon to be within my grasp). Large, built for speed, freaky nerves, aggression and for a big guy - good coloration.

S. calceatum - I love keeping them. Absolutely gorgeous.

P. antinous. I have three females right now and they are all skiddish and you will never see a spider raise their abdomen like they do. Mine have touched their abdomens to thier carapaces. Great choice.

In no particular order..

Ceratogyrus marshalli
Ceratogyrus bechuanicus
Grammostola rosea
Brachypelma emilia
Lasiodora spp. probably parahybana
Acanthoscurria geniculata
Poecilotheria ornata
Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens
Grammostola pulchra
Avicularia versicolor

Just tossing this up there; referring to the "Holy Grail" thread, notice how half of the people didn't pick P.metallica.

Ha ya no kidding, only 10 to her would be worse then a jail sentence. :p
Haha I wouldn't doubt that with that many Ts. If only I had that many...one day, one day. To stay on topic, Ryan, what 10 would you keep?
