A friend of mind captured this specimen in New Jersey. I know the picture is not the best, but unfortunately this is the best I have from him!

Any thoughts?

Yep that's definetly a spider....sorry I'm not much help...the little ones..well......they scare me :eek:

Maybe a Hacklemesh Weaver? Then again, could be a Pardosa sp

Hard to say with the dark pics.

Yeah, looks like it might be a hacklmesh weaver (harmless). That's as close to an ID as you're going to get, I'm afraid. Can't determine a species, or even the genus, from these pictures.
