[Gears of War]

i found a spider in my house and idk wut it is. it has a very small body about 3/4 cm and very long legs about 1 inch some of them it looks like. i put it in a gallon container with some wolfie spiderlings:4 of them. and it took one of them out. wut is it?

I'm afraid we need some more description than just its size. Please tell us about its coloration/ markings, proportions, the web/ retreat/ habitat you found it in, where you are located, etc.

well i found it in my basement in the corner of the cieling. wen i found it it was maybe tanish color. the web it made in the corner looked like random threads to me and so duz the one in the container. i have it in a gal. container with half dirt with some tiny wolfs and some dead leaves and twigs. i live in RI

Sounds like a Pholcid to me, and going by what is most common in the northeast I'd guess Pholcus phalangioides... based purely on commonality in basements.
