Some species of Agelenopsis (grass Spider). There are over a dozen different species in the US so I'm unsure as to which you have specifically.

Sorry to bump but maybe some will find it cool-- I've been keeping him a while and he is getting REALLY fat. He eats everything!!! Or (she)?


I also have two tarantulas, looking to try an old world one soon. Just a bit nervous. Pmd advice is welcome!!

It's too hard to tell from the photos, but you can look at its pedipalps (the really small "legs" in the very front), and if they bulbous at the tips, like boxing gloves, then it's a male.
