Hi. I just picked up an adult female Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens and after arriving home I noticed this kind of 'bubbles' or 'droplets' in the last left leg, you can see them very clearly in the picture. They are no mites, I think is haemolymph, but I'd like to read your opinion...

Thanks for reading.

Creo k es correcto..

Esto no parece un parásito.

La causa podria ser algunos pequeños agujeros en el exo

According to Google translate Kezy was saying this:

I think it's right ..

This does not look like a parasite.

The cause could be some holes in the exoskeleton.

:D
You're welcome.

I have put her in a dry enclosure with paper towels, a hide, and a water bowl to observe what happens during the next days. Thanks for the answers, hope it is not a serious thing...

Incredible photo, I have no weigh-in on this- but what sort of camera do you use?

My "guess" is that it received some type of damage during packaging or shipping.

Yep, I think so. No changes at all, and no sign of mites. I think she was not very well cared for, but apparently these 'wounds' do not seem life-threatening or serious...

It is my old EOS 1Ds MkIII, with 100mm macro and MT-24EX micro twin light. The combination I use for all the shots you see here. :)
