ID my Big Grub Please

i found this under a piece of rotten firewood today. it was found in TN and is around 3 inches long.

Thanks can you give me soem more info of longhorn beetles and are they possible to keep in captivity?

yes, just feed the grub the wood you found him in and maybe add some dog food. It will make a hard round earthen structure that it needs to pupate in. when it emerges you should be able to feed it sliced apples or watered down maple syrup.

Generally they need to reared inside a semi-rotten log or the grubs die prior to pupation. It's a lot of work for something that lives a few weeks.
