or encyclopedia wit good pics males/females and descriptions of specimens and where it come from
I went to huge book store past weekend
millions books on dogs, cats, birds, fish........NONE in tarantulas :?

If you can get a hold of it, check for "The Tarantula Keeper's guide", it has a few species and some pictures on how to sex. but most of the individual species info will come from the net. And becoming a BTS member would definitely help.

yep i'd suggest the tarantula keepers guide too! picked up some useful info's there though i havent finished reading it yet.. time is an issue.. *sigh*

I got my Tarantula Keeper's Guide by special ordering it at a bookshop. They too had ZERO books on t's in stock. :(

i got my copy of the "Tarantula Keepers Guide" for $4 only. last one in stock but the covers are really raggedy... :rolleyes:
