ID help? Ontario (southern)

We have a species of Arctosa in Manitoba that looks like the second one, but I can't say that's what yours is from that picture.

I can’t get a good picture of its eyes, I’m not even sure if it’s alive but we will see…
even if its not alive itll help. if its a wolf spider or relative the eyes will prove it. its hard to id a spider from the side curled up like that

I think you’re right about the second for sure; but I also think the top is a bark crab spider (Bassaniana).
i think Philodromidae is more likely for the crab spider.


this is what i was talking about when i said it looked like one of our Arctosa, but this is a lot more of a guess than the Philodromidae.

You should be able to tell Arctosa apart from Amaurobius with eye position/orientation

I don't think the crab is Thomisidae - the back two pairs of legs aren't small enough in comparison with the front two pairs, to my eye.
