Hello there !
I recevied a package today with the worst packing i ever seen one of the sling, died due busted abdomen and the other one is in ICU. I've put some moistened toiletpaper but im so worried so i get alot of thoughts in my mind like "did i moisted it enough?" "Did I put to thin layer of toilet paper?"

IT barely moved when i got it out, and saw it was stuck to something like a barkchip . it was so little and fragile so i gently removed the barkchip from its ventral side and i couldnt pinch grab it so i gently rolled it over in the ICU. I dont know if it will make it, but i saw some twitching 10 minuter after its been in the ICU. Is this a good sign? its near my radiator ("element") in a dark spot.

Any hopes?

Hard to say, but I'd get a hold of whomever you bought those from and refuse to pay for them; get a refund and order from someone who knows how to ship. This person obviously doesn't if there are bark chips in with the spiders. :wall:

Sorry to hear about your slings :(

If it was roughed up in packaging and has internal damages, it probably won't make it.. :(

But, keep it in ICU and don't call it done until you know it's gone.

Good luck..

I have already payed for it through bank accounts so i dont know if i'll get it back and it wasnt a online dealer or so. Yea I thought the same thing as soon as i opened the package.

She is still twitching, and has spread out 3 of her legs halfway. Should i remoist it the toiletpaper ? cuz it starting to dry out. Or should i leave her alone?

Keep it moistened. Make sure there's enough ventilation as well and warm is good but not too hot. Good luck, I hope it pulls through.

It may not count for much because you're in Sweden and this is a US site but you could (probably should) write a review of this seller.

Still its alive, but still in bad shape, twitching from time to time but it seems like its bones are broken and no improvements whatsoever. It has been around 24 hours now. Any hopes ?

I keep the ICU moist at all times and ventilated but no improvements.

Still, I'd make either a review video or even a review here even if they aren't an online store. Likely someone here in the hobby may want to buy spiders this person has on sale and will never even know how unknowledgable the seller is.

I can't believe they packed the T with what was likely the substrate for the T. Shouldn't be on bark in the first place....poor baby.. :(

Doesn't sound like it's going to make it... Is it able to crawl at all?

If its not even able to move then there isn't much chance it's going to eat IMO.

That really sucks... I really hope you contacted the seller

I think i will try i will update on that.
Yea i made reviews of the seller in scandinavian forums and contacted her, but no refund, no new spider and the seller wont admit that the packaging was all wrong with sending them in empty picjars.

If it made it for 6 days then to me it sounds like itts got a chance. It might not be an injury at all, could be dks or some bad molt symptoms then again you might just be overreacting (a few pics or a clean video would help alot. I would offer some food, maybe a prekilled meal worm or a pinhead depeding on the size of the T.
Keep it in a small icu but dont make it to wet for it. hopefully the sling will make it.
Only time will tell so be patient and good luck!

Is it twitching on its own or are you doing something to 'prompt' it to twitch? For example, are you blowing on it, gently touching it with something, etc.?

If you're prompting it to twitch, it may not actually be twitching, but the legs are responding to your stimulis (i.e. - blowing on them may make the legs move just from the force of you blowing).

Although I assume it would be pretty stinky by now if it were dead...

Yea but today i actually rolled it over and it started twitching with one of its pedipalps and the front leg when it was upside down, i rolled it over misted it and left it alone.
