Hello, I am currently raising a young scolopendra paradoxa.

I started breeding and have some questions, so I come to the forum and leave a message.

1. It is currently being raised at a temperature of 71.6F, half of which is soil, and the other half of which is gravel, and a large water bowl is put in.
The water bowl and gravel inside the water bowl are washed and put in every day.
I want to raise it this way until I grow a little more, so please let me know if there is any problem.

2. I didn't hunt, so I cut and paid for the mealworm.
Each time, they eat only the fluid that flows out of the mealworms and throw away the rest.
Is there any other food that young paradoxa eats? Or don't you normally eat mealworm well?

3. Is there a place where I can get information on paradoxa's breeding data or breeding records?

I would really appreciate it if you could answer my question...

Try giving them raw chicken or watermelon. cooked is fine in my experience but if you want to be safe stick with raw

Given their proclivity toward water, small crabs/shrimp are probably welcome additions to their diet.

Nice to see another S. Korean on the boards! I've been considering getting a S. paradoxa myself (you probably know the breeder), though I haven't worked with the species at all before (I do currently have other centipedes).

i just got a tip from someone who sells paradoxa. For them to be healthy and not die quickly, you need to give them what they would eat in the wild. Crab, shrimp, small fish, ect. Roaches are still fine but prioritize the sea food

Does this centipede swim or something?

is it highland or lowland? the temp range varies quite a bit depending on the elevation they were found at, or so i have heard. I have also heard, like others have said, that they prefer aquatic foods, and are less excited over terrestrial inverts.
