I keep terrestrial isopods in Japan and numerous beautiful morphs are not distributed at all because P.scaber is not popular in Japan.
Furthermore, Japanese law prohibits the importation of P. scaber, so I am unable to obtain new morphs from overseas.
So, I am thinking of creating my own morphs from existing morphs found overseas, but I do not know how to find F0 morphs.
In Japan, where even basic morphs such as the "Dalmatian" are not in circulation, the only way to try is to look for mutated individuals in the wild.
I am very confused because they are not popular and there is no information about them.

I am using a translator, so I apologize if there are any unnatural sentences.

Hello!

Unfortunately you are going to have to just experiment with finding P. scaber, breeding them and then monitoring the colony for any unusual specimens, separating those to see what you can come up with.

not much you can do. you’ll just have to keep checking on your colony, if you see an odd individuals then you should separate them and breed them with other odd individuals.

I guess we'll just have to keep breeding colonies after all.
Thank you.
