With nothing else recognizable in the picture, it's impossible to tell how large the roach is :p

Maybe he can just take a sip and let the roach live on. It's an infinitely renewable food resource. Hmmm, I guess roaches are kind of that way even if you kill a bunch.

Looks like a 2nd/3rd instar Platymeris and a subadult Blaberus, likely fusca or hybrid.
he hit the nail on the head...twice :clap:

the assassin is 2nd instar. P. sp. "mombo"
and the roach is a fusca hybrid.

there are a few pet stores in my area selling the assassins. i was suprised to see them so i picked some up.


ohhh and the adults killed the roach. the nymph was just going around sucking the legs dry. i thought it was funny how the adults left the roach just kinda sitting there.
