My jumping spider has built this nest/sack thing in his home and he hasn't came out for two weeks. He's moving around in there, so he's alive I just don't know why he hasn't left, I was wondering if any of you knew why he might be doing this. (I'm not sure if he's actually a boy that's just what I've been calling him) any help is very appreciated.

Could be preparing for a molt. Otherwise it could be a mature female getting ready to lay/tending an already laid sac.

Thanks,

Just remember, if they build dense webbing, it means they are either molting or brooding.
Jumping spiders can go quite a while without food, so don't worry.
