Problem I got redirected to this website when opening a link on here.

Link no longer working. Only had chrome open and this website was the only one I had open and I went to look at this thread

It had a false cursor where you had to scroll your cursor further up the page before you could see the real one and click on the back button.

I am wondering, Could it have been an ad that was loading on the page?

The culprit is most likely Chrome, and potentially your settings.
