I got a little Beardie today... he needs help

Thanks for asking... he's fine and I am pretty sure now that he really is a HE. (haha... after his morning bath today, I looked under his tail and I think I saw two little bumps instead of just one... indicating male, hopefully) I mean, with a name like Hugo... Is there a girl version of "Hugo"?

Anyhow, it seems that he just wasn't ready to be sent out on his own to fend for himself amongst "not so informed" pet store employees... he was very dehydrated, hungry and mistreated. Now.... well... you know me he's just rotten!! Two baths a day, holding onto me and 'snoozin' the whole time... 3 cricket buffets and a gourmet salad with "special" homemade dressing (slurpy baby food chicken and/or squash with supps) drizzled over... daily housekeeping and poop removal... vet check here and in Maine, possibly (via USPS).

He watches me around the room. He watches Poodah a LOT! And he bobs his darn little head at me!!

Would you say, "SPOILED"? or no?


How is your gang? How's that kitty? Any new multi legged kids?

I am sooo glad to hear he is doing well! He sounds like such a spoiled baby! Well deserved, of course!

Everyone here is fine, thanks for asking. The little kitty is doing great, she is my little spoiled baby. No new little ones, but I am wanting a BD so badly, especially after hearing about your little Hugo! He sounds just wonderful! Give him extra kisses for me!

Y'know, if you are still looking for the ultimate pet for the kiddos... a BD would be it!! Seriously, everything I've read and seen in pics indicates that even little kids can handle a BD without problems... just have to teach them how and be sure your BD is "spoiled" (*read tame and calm).

Try this site and ask them some ?s ... www.beardeddragon.org It seems that a LOT of folks go on there and research months in advance, and they have a trading section, too... it would be a good start

Thanks for the suggestion. I belong to that group and find them to be very helpful and friendly. Not that I have asked any questions yet, but I've been lurking for months now.
